Riverfront
Place
As you walk or drive north along Riverfront Drive, Riverfront Place appears on the right as a bank of brick and stone townhomes set back only a short distance from the curb, framing the street and embracing a glass- and metal-clad midrise residential tower in the background. Visitors feel as if they are entering a villagea community with a unique identity.
As you walk or drive north along Riverfront Drive, the project appears on the right with a bank of brick and stone townhomes set back only a short distance from the curb, framing the street and embracing a glass- and metal-clad midrise residential tower in the background. Visitors feel as if they are entering a village, a community with a unique identity. The terminus of the street begins to come into view, a public plaza framed by two commercial buildings, appropriately screened but not hidden from the residential components of the project.
The plaza blends landscape and hardscape, providing a shaded pergola culminating in a significant public art component adjacent to the River Trail. The commercial buildings complement but do not overwhelm the plaza. Upon fully entering the plaza, visitors experience the expanse and majesty of the Pedestrian Bridge, a truly inspiring prospect.
