Renovation
Wellness for the whole person mind, body and spirit is a core concept for Immanuel, and one that is key to the design of this facility.
Thrive by Immanuel Wellness Centers and Day Spas was created through a combination of new construction and renovation of the existing wellness center at Lakeside Retirement Community. A dynamic exercise and fitness center have been added to the existing lap pool. The prior exercise area has been renovated into a day spa, offering salon services and therapeutic massage treatments. In addition to these improvements, The Bistro 1887, near the fitness area, allows patrons an opportunity to socialize before and/or after wellness activities. Through the process, 9,069 square feet were renovated, and 4,438 square feet were added. The commons renovation included the main dining room, lounge areas, a library and activity room and a 1,486 square feet convocation addition.
