Environments for Aging Announces 28th Annual Design Showcase Award Winners
Four projects completed by RDG have been recognized for outstanding achievement in the design of senior living communities.
Environments for Aging has announced the winners of the 28th annual Design Showcase, a yearly awards program that recognizes remarkable work elevating senior living communities. The EFA Design Showcase highlights new approaches and strategies that meet market demands and change resident and staff expectations.
Glenridge on Palmer Ranch Kamberg Center, designed in collaboration with RDG Planning & Design, Morris Engineering & Consulting, Alvine Engineering and Thompson Dreessen & Dorner, was recognized as a finalist. The design of the Kamberg Wellness Center seeks to enhance body, mind and spirit through a spa-like environment that emphasizes health, hospitality and holistic wellness.
The EFA Design Showcase highlighted three additional projects by RDG in the Continuing Care Retirement Community and Assisted Living categories. These projects include Eastcastle Place, Woodlands at Canterfield and Rockwood at Whitworth.
Submissions for the 2024 awards program were reviewed by Environments for Aging alongside a jury of industry professionals with experience in architecture, interior design and owner/operator perspectives.
Projects earning Honorable Mention and Award of Merit recognition were celebrated during the magazine awards luncheon at the Environments for Aging Conference + Expo held on April 14, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia.
