Bruce Niedermyer, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP is a landscape architect and leads RDG's Urban Design Market.
Since joining the firm in 2012, he has contributed his knowledge and experience to projects across RDG's markets, with notable work in the firm's College & University and Parks & Recreation markets. His approach to design is grounded in a desire to meaningfully impact both people and places. Adept at the art of placemaking, he seeks to create spaces that instill a sense of community, and where people can come together to connect, both with one another and the environment.
Bruce is active in many professional and civic organizations, including membership in the Iowa and Nebraska-Dakotas chapters of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Urban Land Institute. He regularly volunteers and offers professional expertise to his local community of Logan, Iowa, serving on various community development committees and as a volunteer for the parks board and scholastic initiatives.
