The building includes two 20-bed households for long-term care, and one 16-bed household for memory care, and was planned to allow for a future addition. The design is organized around resident households to reinforce the distinct expression of personal versus communal space. The households accentuate the local traditions of home for an intimate and comfortable feel and incorporate soothing color palettes with fresh pops of color and an abundance of natural light to create spaces that feel energizing. The core of the building is an equal distance from each household and provides common space amenities such as an ice cream parlor, chapel, life enrichment studio, therapy gym and large gathering space. 

Many of the exterior design elements were carried into the interior of the building, such as the large stone wall in the chapel, and the entrances to each household. Spaces were designed considering both the resident and their families. A small outdoor playset is situated outside of the ice cream parlor. Both areas are sure to be a favorite spot for family members to visit with their loved ones.
