Immanuel
Corporate
Office
Immanuel's new corporate office is, intentionally, a space that feels like home, is inviting to visitors and employees, and speaks to Immanuel's mission and approach to care.
Previously scattered amongst five different locations throughout Omaha, Immanuel purchased and renovated four floors of a five-story building to create their its corporate office. The new space incorporates an open-office setting, providing both collaborative work areas and various-sized conference spaces. Integrated for employee use are a chapel and multipurpose room, fitness area, and work café. Environmental graphics depicting bright illustrations of nature symbolize the work the organization does each day, and a history display represents over 100 years of Immanuel's humanitarian service endeavors. RDG's graphic designers also created a donor display for the office headquarters, drawing inspiration from the company's logo and the geometric qualities of stained glass. Lacking wall space at the office entrance, the display is modular and fits in a narrow space in front of a glass railing overlooking the lobby on the first floor. Careful planning was done to allow for the display to grow as the donor campaign expands. The blocks are arranged in a wave radiating from the center, creating a sense of movement rather than indicating different levels of giving. The legs of the display were designed to visually connect to the geometric design of the history display in the adjacent hallway.
