Brookestone Gardens is part of the Vetter Senior Living family of communities. This retirement community meets the full spectrum of housing and care needs for residents living in Kearney, Nebraska, and the surrounding community, including 47 independent/assisted living apartments, 29 private rooms for long-term care in skilled nursing and 25 private rooms for short-term rehab in skilled nursing.
The independent living portion of the building is designed to assisted living standards to accommodate aging in place operational and care strategies. The resident experience is enhanced by a variety of social spaces, including dining venues flooded with natural daylight through clerestory windows, bistros for casual dining, indoor and outdoor wellness environments and covered outdoor patios. The exterior of the building, with its swooping clerestories and clerestory, is designed to honor Kearney's global reputation for prime viewing of the annual migration of Sandhill Cranes along the Platte River. The 26-acre campus is master planned to expand independent living options in the future.
