RDG in the Media: Architecture and Engineering Firms Making the Most of Modern Technology
The Midlands Business Journal speaks with AEC firms about the benefits and importance of AI and Data-Driven design.
Architects and engineers use the latest technologies across multiple applications, but AI isn’t replacing humans. Instead, this technology helps designers and creators make more time for themselves. From AI to 3D scanning to drones, innovations are helping firms not only design game-changing structures and systems but also streamline tasks and allow more time to focus on clients and projects.
To learn more about how firms are integrating AI into their daily workflows, the Midlands Business Journal spoke with designers, architects and engineers from across the region, including RDG Senior Partner and Architect Sean Page.
Page shared that AI is being used in the business and data side, noting that “RDG is seeing how the technology integrates with businesses and automates and uses data as leverage to streamline processes for consistency.”
Currently, RDG is using AI to create project profiles and synopses of projects based on information. The firm is also pairing AI with machine learning technologies to do predictive analytics for revenue streams and projects, staffing and more.
