Nebraska Announces Recipients of the 2026 Governor’s Wellness Awards
RDG Planning & Design has been recognized for advanced wellness programs with high-quality outcomes and measurable benefits.
Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen recently honored 31 Nebraska businesses with the 2026 Governor's Wellness Award, highlighting their efforts to foster cultures of workplace wellness. Through innovative, employee-centered programs that support physical, mental, emotional, social and financial well-being, recipients demonstrated a strong commitment to helping employees build healthy habits, stay engaged and thrive both personally and professionally.
RDG Planning & Design received the Harvester Award, which honors businesses that have implemented advanced wellness programs with high-quality outcomes and measurable benefits.
“The Governor's Wellness Award recognizes organizations that are leading the way in creating supportive, health-focused workplaces," said Gov. Pillen. “By making wellness a strategic priority and investing in their employees, these organizations are strengthening engagement, promoting healthier lives, and creating workplaces and communities where people feel empowered to thrive."
Cultivating and supporting employee health has been at the forefront of RDG’s culture since its founding. Integral to RDG’s culture are the 8 Lifestyles: Design, Sustainability, Healthy, Leadership, Continuous Learning, Technology, Fun, and Community. Each of these lifestyles represents a set of strategies to support a balanced life at home, at work and in communities.
Since its inception in 2008, the Governor's Wellness Award has recognized more than 590 organizations and companies for dedicating time and resources to workplace wellness efforts.
